Are You A Deception ?

‘Women going make up free is more stressful than first dates and job interviews”

The craziest thing I’ve heard in a long time.

My First Vlog – Say No To Makeup

Today I decided to make my first ever VLog.

My Vlog is about females having insecurity issues, females nowadays are extremely dependent on make up. They use make up to cover and hide all their insecurities which then makes them a deception. In my video I approached a handful amount of females in my student halls setting them up with a challenge of removing their make up and embracing their true beauty. After I decided to have a short interview with the males asking them about their views on girls wearing make up.

Unrealistically Perfect

Women are pressured into looking good in todays society: Fashion. Make up, Waxing, Surgery.

This is my first blog post in a long time, i thought i should use the opportunity to write about an issue that is sitting at the back of almost every girls mind. As females why do we feel like we are pressured to look glamorous? For who, males? They don’t even put in half the effort we invest in, so why bother?

This is not another feminism rant, i am just here trying to state some facts. Women are pressured by both genders. Women pressure other women by the power of competition setting each other standards, women feel pressured by men because they like to live up to the man’s expectation of perfection why? To boost up a little self esteem.

i blame the media on building mens fantasy to become unrealistically perfect, they want a woman who’s thin, but also has curves and big assets, but in the real world you are either one or the other, naturally. This is when women decide to take it up to the next level by getting surgery done such as breast implants. According to the NHS “The average cost of having breast implants in the UK is in the region of £3,500-5,000” What about the women who cannot afford it, should they be insecure for the rest of their lives?

Music artists such as girl group TLC and Beyonce are trying to inspire women from young to avoid being manipulated by society.

Beyonce recently published a song called pretty hurts early this year,   a behind the scene video was made that explains the concept of the song the video explains and takes a look into society’s intake on beauty and how it doesn’t bring you happiness and it doesn’t move you forward in life. “It’s really finding yourself that brings you happiness.”

LEAKED CELEB PHOTOS

“iCloud hackers” are on a roll this month as they have leaked over 100+ celebrities photographs in the space of 2 weeks. High profile celebs such as: Jennifer Lawrence, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Vanessa Hudgens, Gabriella Union but the latest one this week is including the shocking leak of the 21 years old Disney actress Keke Palmer. FBI has been contacted by the celebs, they have confirmed their images are real and they want a solid investigation on their icloud being hacked. How do they do it? I don’t know. Which celeb would be next on the list? We wait and see. Some label this act as a “sex crime” rather than an ordinary scandal; everyone should have the right to keep their private lives to themselves whether they are celebrities or not, we are all humans and require the same rights at the end of the day. When the hacking news broke into the public, many pointed their fingers at leaks in Apple’s iCloud system but the company recently said that the hack was a result of targeted celebrities and had nothing to do with Apple systems. Apple wrote a public announcement saying “We have discovered that certain celebrity accounts were compromised by a very targeted attack on user names, passwords and security questions, a practice that has become all too common on the Internet,” Fingers have been pointed at a site called 4chan which is run by a couple of anonymous hackers who are accusingly the main distributers to the icloud photos being publicised. As they show no remorse this was posted on their site “Do they really think that they have any chance of stopping us? We will just make a new thread every time one gets 404’ed.” There has been a massive debate on social networking sites such as twitter, the debates are about why females send/take nudes? And how it makes a woman’s image seem easy, what I don’t understand is that women do these things either because a male has demanded it or to simply please the opposite sex who they might trust. Although I believe it’s all a scam how convenient these so-called celebs leaked photos always comes out to the public when they are releasing and promoting a new product or when their spot light had been fading away. Are celebrities leaking these images themselves? I wouldn’t be surprised.
